On March 11th, 12th and 13th, Spring Creek Senior Partners (SCSP) partnered with the Department for the Aging (DFTA) to have a pop-up vaccination site at the Brooklyn Sports Club (BSC) to vaccinate SCSP seniors. This initiative came from DFTA to make it easier for the seniors to get vaccinated without having to travel too far.

The SCSP staff members reached out to seniors to inquire if they would like to make an appointment for the vaccine at the BSC.

Ambulnz, the healthcare provider administered 208 doses of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. The Johnson & Johnson vaccine is only
one dose and differs from the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines because they require two doses to be completely vaccinated.

“The event went well, was well organized and the seniors were appreciative of the opportunity. I feel good for being able to serve the seniors during this difficult time,” said Executive Director of Spring Creek Senior Partners, Ronald Jean
