During the spring of 2019 and after four successive vigorous job interviews, I was chosen as the Executive Director of Spring Creek Senior Partners. It is an honor and a pleasure to work for such an organization and to be able to serve the Older Adults. It is a rewarding experience. The Older Adults always bring their unconditional smile to the office; they tell stories of their youth or from the biggest to the smallest events in their lives. These tales can span countries, loves, challenges and everything in between. As a compassionate person, I enjoy listening to these stories attentively and take lessons from them. Sadly, my grandmother passed away twenty one years ago. The good relationship and love we shared help me see every Older Adult that comes to Spring Creek Senior Partners as a reflection of my late grandmother. It is a pleasure to see, assist and serve every Older Adult whenever and wherever necessary.

Denise Ruiz, PSC

HUD Multifamily Service Coordinator

Denise Ruiz is a certified Professional Service Coordinator and member of the American Associations of Service Coordinators and New York State Association of Resident Service Coordinators. She has been the HUD Multi-family Resident Service Coordinator for the past 17 years. Prior to that she was the Case Assistant and Project Coordinator of Spring Creek Senior Partners for 4 years. Ms. Ruiz is bilingual – English/Spanish with an extensive background in social services and interpersonal skills. She is determined to continue assisting the older adult residents to live independently and remain in their community.

Interviews client for NORC Assessment, by developing NORC plan care as required by funding sources; Provide case management and case assistance services, in accordance with standards of the case work profession, as mandated by grant requirements & guidelines; Refer clients to community resources, as indicated by assessment of the individual needs & NORC Care Plan; Assist numerous Russian speaking clients on various support areas, as necessary.

I am the Administrative Assistant for the NORC/SSP. for over 14 years. I have worked in the community for many years. I was a Foster Parent, 10 years, and was honored with the Foster Parent of the Year Award. My Passion is genuine care for all, my ability to lead by example has inspired me to take on many roles.

Pam has been a nurse for 43 years and at Spring Creek Senior Partners for over 20 years. She is presently working here on a special project called the “Navigator project.” Spring Creek Senior Partners is like her second home and the the staff there and the seniors at Spring Creek towers like her extended family.
